1 Week Post

December 11, 2010: The past week has been amazing - heart-warming, educational and rewarding. There is a bit of a story (which I will share later) behind Gracie's past year which makes this whole experience even more worthwhile. There are also a ton of people to thank including multiple vets, dog breeders, family members and friends.

Green Girl - Jolie

December 11, 2010: Green Girl - Jolie (21 oz)

She's a TANK! Very active girl, eats well, sleeps well, pushes her weight around well! She's the stockiest of them all with a very broad frame and large head. I'm really excited to see how she grows up.

Zzzzzzz

White Girl - Dora

December 11, 2010: White Girl - Dora (19 oz)

She's the quiet and polite puppy of the litter. It's funny how their little personalities start emerging even at 1 week of age. Her little tear drop marking on her face is perfect.

Light Blue Girl - Pepa

December 11, 2010: Light Blue Girl - Pepa (19 oz)

This puppy is beyond SWEET! 1 week old and she loves her belly being rubbed, laying on her back, and getting her back scratched. She is so 'dog like' if that makes any sense? We scratch her back and she reacts by kicking her back leg in happiness. So sweet!

Belly Rubs

Dark Blue Girl - Maya

December 11, 2010: Dark Blue Girl - Maya (21 oz)

She is tied with Green Girl for the largest puppy in the litter. She seems to be the most responsive to our touch (although I am not sure how much you can tell at 1 week of age?). Her markings make her the people's favorite...we'll have to see how the white holds!

Pink Girl - Lola

December 11, 2010: Pink Girl - Lola (14.5 oz)

She is the tiniest, she is the squirrelliest (is that even a word?), she is the cutest, and she is the quickest! Her eyes are open! Puppies eyes usually open at around 10 days but at only 7 days, her eyes are open. This is the girl that the vet thought was D.O.A. and she hasn't stopped surprising me...

Do you see what I see?
